Thoughtfully Made, Especially for You

At Sweet Peas Handmade, every garment and every pair of shoes is handcrafted especially for the customer who orders it.

As a proudly South African, family-owned business, we do not manufacture in bulk or hold large quantities of finished stock. The moment your order is placed, premium fabrics and genuine leather are allocated specifically to your order, patterns are prepared, and our artisans begin many hours of skilled handcrafting.

Because every piece is made exclusively for you, the costs of materials and production are committed long before your order is complete. Unlike large retailers, we simply do not have the financial capacity to absorb the cost of refunded made-to-order products while continuing to support local craftsmanship and fair employment.

For this reason, we do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect size selection, colour preference, or any other personal preference.

Instead, where a return is approved under the conditions below, we are pleased to offer a Sweet Peas Store Credit or Gift Card to the full value of your returned item, allowing you to select another piece you'll truly love.

Exchanges & Store Credit

We are happy to assist with exchanges or issue a Sweet Peas Store Credit or Gift Card, provided that:

• The item is returned unworn, unused and in its original condition.
• All original packaging and tags are included.
• The return is requested within 7 days of receiving your order.
• The item shows no signs of wear, damage or alteration.

To arrange an exchange or store credit, please email info@sweetpeas.co.za. Our team will respond within one business day to guide you through the return process.

For exchanges, simply return your original item to us. Once received and inspected, we will begin handcrafting your replacement item. Sweet Peas will cover the courier cost of sending your replacement item back to you.

Manufacturing Faults & Incorrect Orders

We take enormous pride in the quality of every piece we create.

If your order arrives with a genuine manufacturing fault, or if we have made an error with your order, please notify us within 7 days of receiving your parcel.

Once assessed, we will repair, replace or otherwise resolve the issue where appropriate, in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act.

As our pieces are handcrafted specifically for each customer, we encourage you to carefully review our sizing guides, product descriptions and measurements before placing your order.
